My Story

I have always believed that stories have the power to help us feel seen.

​

Long before I was writing screenplays, I was telling stories as an actress. For more than twenty years, I've had the privilege of performing on stage and screen, bringing other writers' words to life. Those experiences taught me that the stories we remember most aren't always the biggest, they're the ones that tell the truth about what it means to be human.

Today, I'm a screenwriter, actress, producer, and co-founder of MOD Productions, where my husband, Adam, and I create original film, television, and digital content that is bold, heartfelt, and often a little unexpected. Together, we believe great stories can entertain while also inviting empathy, conversation, and connection.

​

My writing is drawn to people who don't quite fit the mold. I love characters who are funny, flawed, resilient, and searching for where they belong. Whether I'm writing comedy or drama, I find myself returning to themes of family, faith, identity, grief, and hope. I believe the best stories make us laugh, challenge our assumptions, and remind us that we're more alike than we realize.

Outside of writing, I'm a wife and the proud mother of three energetic boys. Life in our house is loud, creative, and wonderfully chaotic. Between sports practices, music lessons, and film sets, I've learned that some of life's best stories happen in the ordinary moments.
